4 soldiers die in Kashmir gun battle (HT via Yahoo! India News) |
Four militants and a CRPF jawan were killed and three security men injured in separate encounters in Kashmir on Sunday. Militants and troops of 137-CRPF, along with the special operation group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police were engaged in a gun battle at Shopri Bagh Burzuhama, 14 km north of Srinagar on Sunday morning.
