So this time I went to Srinagar (J&K) it was hot… hotter then Delhi! Most people associate Kashmir with snow capped peaks and lovely weather… hello! Here’s a reality check… its hot! Hotter then you can ever imagine… and to a large extent I assume because of these piles and piles of wood you’ll find outside every other household! There’s hardly any green inside the city of Srinagar! Delhi has more tree for gods sake!
There is massive deforestation going on in Kashmir and people keep wondering why is it getting hotter every year… hope they realize this before its too late…
