?Revoke AFSPA, withdraw troops? |
Srinagar, June 11: Reiterating the demand for scraping of Armed Forces Special Powers Act and withdrawal of troops, the Peoples Democratic Party has said the government of India should take immediate measures to secure life and property of the people in Jammu and Kashmir.
This was conveyed to Union home minister P Chidambaram by a delegation of the party led by its president Mehbooba Mufti.
A PDP spokesman said the Home minister was told that AFSPA was a source of friction
