Militant killed in Kupwara: Police |
Srinagar, Oct 5: A militant was killed in an ongoing encounter with a joint party of policemen and troops in frontier district of Kupwara on Sunday, police said.
A police spokesman said the policemen and troopers cordoned off the Dever Mirgi village this evening and launched searches. “Militants fired upon the search party which was retaliated triggering a gunfight.”
