Man held with 50 Corex bottles |
Bandipora, May 6: Police today arrested a man in Bandipora market and recovered fifty bottles of cough syrup, Corex, from him.
andnbsp;Police said Tariq Ahmad Bhat of Sopur was selling the drug in Bandipora for the past several days. The cough syrup is used by youth as a replacement for alcohol.
andnbsp;There has been an increase in the consumption of non-alcoholic addictive substances in the recent past in Bandipora.
