Lt Col, 12 militants, 3 troopers killed |
Srinagar: Army on Saturday said that death toll in an ongoing encounter between militants and troopers which broke out in frontier district of Kupwara on Friday mounted to 16 as seven more militants were killed today.
A Lieutenant Colonel, three troopers and five militants were killed in the gun battle on Friday.
Army’s Srinagar based spokesman while giving the details of the encounter said that troopers of 45 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) launched a search
