HM commander held: Police

Srinagar, May 18: Police has claimed to have arrested a battalion commander of frontline militant outfit Hizbul Mujahideen in Handwara.
andnbsp;According to Superintendent of Police Handwara, police associated with soldiers of 30 Rashtriya Rifles launched an operation at village Chak Sanzipora. During the cordon and search operation, the personnel came under heavy gunfire from militants. The fire was retaliated triggering an encounter.
