Decrease in rice quota is axing belly of poor: Citizens Forum |
Srinagar, Oct 11: A meeting of the Srinagar City Senior Citizens Forum headed by its president, Muzamil Khan, has flayed the state administration for decreasing the quota of rice being provided to the consumers on the CAPD ration cards by fixing the quota at 35kgs per ration card. Earlier, each member would be provided with 11kgs of rice irrespective of the size of the family. It implies, a family comprising of 8 members, for example, would receive 35kgs of rice as against 88kgs earlier
