Day 6: Poonch gun battle continues |
Jammu, Jan 5: Army on Monday denied that militants have built concrete bunkers in the upper reaches of Jammu?s Poonch district, as the gun battle, which broke out last week, continued for sixth consecutive day today. Army had earlier said that so far four unidentified militants, two troopers and a Special Police Officer have been killed in the encounter.
In a statement here, a defence spokesman said the army had launched searches in the forests of Bhatidar area adjoining Mendhar
