Day 2: Kashmir observes shutdown |
Srinagar, Aug 23: People in Kashmir remained indoors on Saturday to observe a general strike on call of coordination committee.
The Coordination Committee — an amalgam of pro-freedom groups, traders, transporters, lawyers and members of the civil society on Friday asked the people to observe complete shutdown on Saturday and Sunday, and assemble at Lal Chowk on Monday.
The valley wore a deserted look as both public and private transport remained
