Damaged irrigation canal poses threat in Karnah |
Srinagar, May 25: Damaged irrigation canal by the construction of a road in Karnah Kupwara, poses threat of desiccation to acres of cultivated land and serious damage to the houses.
andnbsp;According to the reports, the canal was damaged at many places during the construction of a 5-kilometer road by Roads and Buildings (Randamp;B) from Kundipora to Chunipora last year. However the canal wasn’t repaired after the construction work was completed.
