Cops thrash scribes |
Srinagar: Police on Saturday manhandled some scribes who were invited by the Army to cover a function in Handwara town of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
andnbsp;Yasir Sayeed of Kashmir Times, Shahid Rafiq of Greater Kashmir and IBN’s Muzamil were abused and beaten up by the cops on the orders of a Deputy Superintendent of Police.
andnbsp;“We have the footage of the incident showing the cops beating us,” said a videographer.
