Close aide of Mirwaiz joins PDP

Srinagar, June 11: Hurriyat (M) leader and a close aide of Mirwaiz dynasty, Yaqub Vakil today joined Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Party Patron, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, party president Ms Mehbooba Mufti, party senior vice president Moulana Iftikhar Hussain Ansari, party senior leader and minister for finance Tariq Hamid Kara and party district president Ghulam Qadir Pardesi welcomed the new entrant into the party fold.
