1579 load carriers enter, leave valley |
Srinagar: A government spokesman today claimed that 1579 load carriers arrived and left the valley during the last 24 hours till 2 pm. “Out of 727 load carriers that arrived here, 147 carried rice, 34 sugar, 33 flour, 48 fruit, 17 sheep, 15 chicken, 66 diesel, 27 kerosene oil, 39 LPG and 02 milk,” he said. “Besides 222 load carriers with other commodities also arrived here with 25 empty trucks after off-loading goods outside returned during this period.”
