Eyeing polls, Centre drafts J&K package (Express India) |
With assembly polls in Jammu and Kashmir closing in, the UPA government on Wednesday decided to launch a comprehensive package for the state including special assistance to Kashmiri pundits and financial support to the dependents of those militants who lost their lives in police encounters.
