Students Protest Hostel Evacuation, Get Tear Smoke (Greater Kashmir) |
Srinagar, May 27: Day after president Pratibha Patil preached lessons of tolerance and non-violence in Kashmir University, police on Tuesday used batons and tear smoke canisters against protesting students. The students were protesting against the ‘forced evacuation’ from campus hostels on Friday.
