Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad has appointed a former separatist leader as his advisor with the status of a Minister of State. Azad now has a brigade of six advisors. Azad has appointed three new advisors, one each from Kashmir, Jammu and Ladakh. They include Chief Secretary C Phunsog, who is to retire on October 31 and Congress leader from Jammu Janak Raj Gupta.
